Accomodations

For those travelling to Fort Worth for our party, we will be staying at the new Omni Hotel in downtown Fort Worth, and we hope you all will join us there.

We will be there Friday and Saturday and there will be plenty of things to do both nights and during the day Saturday, so please do come for the weekend if you can.

We have reserved a great rate for Friday and Saturday, but please book early because there is a convention in town at the same time.

There are also several other hotels near the River Ranch, in the Historic Stockyards, and you are welcome to stay there as well: The Stockyards Hotel and the Hyatt Place in the Stockyards

Other options downtown include the Ashton and the Worthington.

There will be transportation arranged from the Omni to the River Ranch, and also valet available at the River Ranch.

What is Cowboy Cocktail?

For girls, Cowboy Cocktail means you can wear any combination of cocktail dress or jeans and cowboy boots or heels.  Western style is highly encouraged, as you will have the opportunity to ride a mechanical bull and participate in other "western" activities.

Here, Jessica Simpson looks great in a black dress and tan cowboy boots.

Guys don't need to be as extremely cowboy as Steve Murrin, the "mayor" of The North Side in Ft. Worth, but if you want to dress in wranglers, cowboy boots, cowboy hat, and handlebar moustache, then please feel obliged.  Any combination of aforementioned clothing and/or accessories, or just regular old cocktail attire will do.

Friday Night

Hopefully many of you will decide to come to Ft. Worth on Friday night. If you do, there are several dinners going on. Contact the appropriate person (Dawn, Lindsey, Ted, or Vicki) for details.

Patrick & Lindsey will be going to Joe T. Garcia's at 8:00 pm. Anyone is welcome to come, and we have transportation leaving the Omni at 7:30 if you'd like to join us there. It is located at 2201 N. Commerce St. in Ft. Worth (near the stockyards) (817) 626-4356

After Joe T.'s we will spend the rest of the evening at the Showdown Saloon on Camp Bowie Blvd.

See you all soon!
