For girls, Cowboy Cocktail means you can wear any combination of cocktail dress or jeans and cowboy boots or heels. Western style is highly encouraged, as you will have the opportunity to ride a mechanical bull and participate in other "western" activities.

Guys don't need to be as extremely cowboy as Steve Murrin, the "mayor" of The North Side in Ft. Worth, but if you want to dress in wranglers, cowboy boots, cowboy hat, and handlebar moustache, then please feel obliged.
